wireless network just stopped working ????

Here is the story: I have FC4 on a Inspiron 3800 with an orinoco wireless card. The system is a fairly new install, and the wireless was working flawlessly before. I went to a friends house and had to do a standard reconfig to get my laptop to work at the new location. When I tried to reconfig back to my house settings, it will not connect. I have done nothing weird to the config files other that using the graphical tools available. Output of "$ ifup eth0" :

Determining IP information for eth0... failed; no link present. Check cable?

The wireless interface wouldn't be called eth0 as eth0 is the ethernet device.
Sometimes this will happen with a wireless network anyway so you need to re correct the iwconfig, ifconfig, and route parameters. I made a script for doing this a while ago when I had a wireless connection.
