[ask]remove interactive startup

i want to ask how to remove an interactive startup in fedora core 2, i dont want anyone to press I to disable services in startup... thx b4

Hi,

edit your /etc/rc.sysinit and /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit files and modify these lines :
Quote:
if [ "$PROMPT" != "no" ]; then
echo -en $"\t\tPress 'I' to enter interactive startup."
echo
fi

No, don't change /etc/rc.d/rc.sysinit. The right file to change is /etc/sysconfig/init, in the end you can find the following:
Quote:
# Set to anything other than 'no' to allow hotkey interactive startup...
PROMPT=yes
Set PROMPT=no and the code foobar47 quoted will bypass interactive startup.
