Need help w/ Linksys WMP54G Wireless Install

Gentle reader, New to Linux and FedoraForum.org.

Did first (2) attempts at installing FC4 recently from CD to Dell PIII box.
Linksys WMP54G card was apparently unrecognized: Network prompts from chapt 8 of Install Guide did not appear; Hardware Browser does not show it; Can't add it using Internet Config dialog.

First Question: Is it normal for this card to be undetected at install time?

Did some research. Looks like there are at least two options: ndiswrapper around Windows driver; or Broadcom 4306 driver. Right? I have no idea how to implement either. Could someone help or redirect me to help please? Thanks,
