If anything, it's a good place to spend time and learn in the cyber world.

I'm in Los Angeles and I personally like linux in general (my first learning forum was www.linuxquestions.org) but I have a life and I rather enjoy it by going out and snowboarding with my 2 kids.

Muahahaha... I also have a "real life", but nonetheless, I have over 5000 posts all in all in the many linux forums where I participate. So bein addicted and having a real life at the same time is not impossible.

I've been a member since 2004-02-26. Almost 2 years now.....but at sometime one has to think what's really important in life. My post count is from posting from work when NOT busy but that's not that case anymore. Our place work is expanding and more work came along....

Hey,
I, too am a forum-a-holic. I dunno, I find it fun to help others online, even if you don't know them. Knowledge is here priceless. Literally. It's what seperates stupid companies who just want your money and do not care about the quality of their product (*remind you of someone?*) and Linux, the free OS.

Of course I'm a Forum-a-holic, since I have to maintain my high-paid position within the Community (still waiting for that first check, Ewdi?) Of course, I have to be here on guard to protect you from spammers, flamers and test YOUR knowledge by giving the WRONG answers to simple questions (so far, you're all doing well - I find that nearly every one of my answers is corrected almost immediately by someone who really knows linux).
Actually, since I've retired I find this an excellent hobby and a way to pass the time until my beloved spouse allows me to buy a snowmobile or until the ice melts and my boat is again afloat.

G'day Bob,
Just so you don't feel left out with this message....you are wrong. The command "beloved spouse" should not be used in a sentence with the word "allows". Doing it that way will just return a "it will never happen" error.
Mind you I'm no expert and haven't figured out the correct syntax for the "beloved spouse" command yet.

Sorry Mutt, but if the term 'allows' is not used in conjunction with 'beloved spouse' when a user is seeking administrative privileges, said program will crash and require extended downtime and system repairs.

G'day Bob,
You are not taking into account the "mood swing" variable.
