Not getting Virtual Terminals

I'm not getting any Virtual Terminals [Ctrl+Alt+F1-F8]. I was handy if i messed up with my gui.

I'm using FC4.

I think it's just F1-F6?

IIRC, you can also kill X by <ctrl><alt><backspace>

I dont want to kill X. I'm getting those terminals while i'm on runlevel 3. But once X is loaded, it wont work. I was working earlier.

I now have the same problem. Running FC5 and can't access virtual terminals with <ctrl><alt><Fx>. Any solution?
