I have made all the steps to configure PHP MySql and PhpMyAdmin like on this instalation notes from this page Instalation notes
but when i try to loog in as super user, on http://localhost/phpmyadmin/ it redirects me to www.microsoft.com, what would be the cause of that..

Hi,

You setup phpMyAdmin on Linux ?
Which distro ?

Did you try from your localhost box ? ie, the box where you install phpmyadmin ?

Try with the ip, perhaps 192.168.0.1, depends on your configuration...

If you try from a windows box, with Internet Explorer, IE don't find this site, it redirects you to the microsoft search...

But why put "localhost" from Windows box when you install on a Linux box...

Are you sure that the name is correct ?

Did you setup on Linux or on Windows ???

Did you start Apache server ?

Did you put your "phpmyadmin" dir in the DocumentRoot of Apache ?

You haven't modify your httpd.conf file to include the phpmyadmin directive ?

I don't remember if you should, but try it !

What is the result of http://localhost/ ?
