Raid (0) setup?

Guys

I have a 1.0ghz P3 1gb ram with a Promise TX2 pata raid card. 2X160gb on Promise + 1X80gb on MB.

When I installed FC4 I just followed the basic suggetsions. I do not think that it setup the linux softRaid route.
No $$ for more hardware for the system.( X2 system for Xmas?) I do a lot of Avidemux.

Questions:

1. How do I check for sure?

2. Do I have enough "horsepower" to go the softRaid Route?

3. Is softRaid the "best" route to go?

4. How do I get it to use softRaid (I assume a reformat)?

Thanks

Lazlow
