OPENSSL 0.9.7a

I have openssl 0.9.7a installed on fc2

I need to to enable IDEA.

how can this be done

Where would I find the source rpm

Assuming you are legally entitled to use the IDEA algorithm, you can grab the source RPM from FedoraLegacy, and tweak its build options as needed. Hope that helps!
