please save my stupid behind!

hi everybody,

i knew it was gonna happen when i was doing it and it did happen!
i wanted to compare FC3 with Scientific Linux in terms of computational performance and speed, so i tried to install both, together with winxp, on my computer. i had windows first, then FC3, leaving some hard disk space unformated for Scientific Linux. then i started installing SL and when it came to boot loader part i knew i was in trouble.
but i went ahead anyway, creating an additional line for what i thought was FC3. however, after reboot, i couldt boot in FC3 anymore.
how do i get FC3 back? how do i make it use GRUB that was installed with FC3 (i dont quite like SL's GRUB's background)?
if i try to boot FC3 it tells me:
Error 13: Invalid or unsupported executable format

please help!

actually, i was able to get FC3 back - i had to specify the correct partition and add kernel and initrd lines in grub.conf file. the second questions remains though - how can i make it use grub installed with FC3?

search this forum for reinstalling grub.
Use #1 boot disk--linux rescue--etc..
search--read for some of this kind of stuff.

GRUB is GRUB. It already is installed. But, if you really want to, bootup Fedora and type (as root):

Code:

grub-install /dev/hda

to install MBR of 1st drive, or repalce with /dev/hdb for the MBR of 2nd drive.
