Is this true about the penguin ?

There came a time when the people said, we need a mascot for the Linux kernel. And Linux relented. Lots were drawn from all the entries thrown in the ring. Linus was asked what he liked. Having been attacked and bitten by a penguin on a visit to a research station in Antarctica where Linux was in use, he said a penguin.

Since then, Tux has becom the generally accepted Linux Mascot for the entire Linux Operating system.
