Question resetting passwords

hey folks!

Ive got a Windows pc that i wanna install Fedora core 3 on (dual boot) but i needa bet in as administrator to make some changes before i put on FC3.

I have heard it can be done using Knoppix CD to reset the SAM file - but apparently newer version of this CD dont have captive ntfs drivers to read these drives, is this so???

and if so can i use another linux CD e.g. Slackware, FC3 or Ubuntu disc to reset the password??

thanks for any help in advance!

No need for that. This will work on both XP and Win2k machines. Best ever.
