Question updated installation CD ?

Hello

is there an updated installation CD of Fedora Core 4 which would provide one of the latest kernel ?
This would allow a lot of people to install FC on their recently bought hardware...

Christy's right - those are good ISO's and I've used them (unfortunately yesterday) to load my system several times. You'll still have a kernel update and a bunch of other things, since the versions are a couple of months old, but far better than the big update stack that would be with the original CD's.

Thanks for the link, that's what I wanted.
Unfortunately they don't provide the latest kernel.

my issue is simular.

I tried a fresh install of FC4, and immediatly went to yum update after I got the gpg keys from RHN

I got errors finding mirrors, yum update failed.

basicly.. fc4 users can't just use yum update anymore. I think repos changed and alot of the updated headers are broke.

I never had serious problem with yum.
But for a fresh install my network card is not supported by the kernel on the installation CD, so ...
