Well, we currently have
www.fedorafaq.org

The Stanton Finley website is also heavily used around here;

I've used both of those sites. But they don't seem to be as extensive and as easy to use as the EasyLinux.info site. The information at the EasyLinux.info pages actually began as the Unofficial Fedora Core Starter Guide by Chua Wen Kiat . I used it with Fedora Core (?2). I copied and pasted the commands into a root terminal when I was seting up Ubuntu. It made it very easy to get all the multimedia apps working. Maybe the Fedora users with the knowledge would make one for Fedora Core 4 at EasyLinux.info.

I thought the Stanton Finley guide was an excellent "unofficial" step by step
guide to get Fedora up and running.

I personally go first to Stanton Finley for any Fedora things, then just search these forums.

Ah, we all love Stan! But who can forget these OTHER goodies?
http://home.gagme.com/greg/linux/fc4-tips.php
http://www.mjmwired.net/resources/mjm-fedora-fc4.html
http://shamsweb.50webs.com/start.html
(and I probably neglected at least a half dozen more)....
All have good resources that I've tapped, and looking forward to more to come!

Great! I'm sure it will be as useful as it was when I used it with an earlier version of Fedora Core. I have used the Stanton Finley and MJM sites in the past also. I gave a newbie Ubuntu, long time Windows user in Canada the link, and he said he was amazed at how easy it was to setup the apps using the information at the EasyLinux site.

Helllo Orvil,

thats a very good idea.

I hope some Fedora professionals will also help you so that beginners like me can more easily set up a pretty working environemnet with basic tasks like listen to audi, videos, surfing, emailing, chatting, sharing and so on.

Thx and keep up the good work!
