FC4 Hangs on Boot

Im a bit of a linux newbie, so bear with me

Basically, when booting the system, it gets up to determining IP information for eth0, and just hangs there. After a couple of minutes it switches to the shell where it says like creating swap file [OK] (not the graphical shell thingy)
