Monitor has high contrast inverse colors but icons are still in regular colors...

I don't know where to put this in either hardware or laptop.

But I am using a laptop called a Fujitsu Lifebook. Everything was working on it perfectly until some stupid idiot seat on it. Now it shows colors for icons but the whole display is like it is set high contrast inverse theme in Windows.

I tried to use Windows XP to see if it effected it, and it did have the same problem. I tried reintstalling FC3 on that laptop and it still had the problem.

The laptop uses an ATI Radeon Mobile graphics driver/card. It just a small portable computer. I don't have many specs on it other than that and that it has a 20GB hard drive and 256MB of RAM, and a P3 CPU.

Any help is greatly appreciated...

Just need to add something I have noticed playing with it. I don't have a crack in the screen or any dent or impression.
