motherboard drivers needed?

As far as I can tell everthing seems to work quite well on my FC4 x86_64 system. I have installed the latest driver for my nVidia graphics card, the latest kernel etc. But I found that there is a driver for my MSI K8N Neo2 motherboard (NFORCE-Linux-x86_64-1.0-0310-pkg1.run) and am wondering if I need to install this?

Hi:
From what I have read etc. you are better off not installing the Nforce Drivers. Others may differ, however since your Mainboard is working fine I would leave well enough alone.

Thanks for the reply. I sort of figured that might be the case. One wonders what purpose the drivers serve then?
