Changed Motherboard, now no sound

Ok,

I had to have a new MB put in. Previous MB had a VIA chipset. Sound was fine.
New MB has a intel 82801eb/er AC-97 chip. No sound. What do I need to do to get sound?
Sound card is detected but Volume control in GNOME says there are no sound devices.

Thanks
