aim Failed dependencies?

im trying to install aim. i know about gaim and i use it, but i still need to be able to have a voice chat and be able to upload files to other aim users and i cant do that with gaim. anyway, when i try to install the rpm, i get this

error: Failed dependencies:
libstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 is needed by aim-1.5.286-1.i386

i tried to look for that file but cant find it. in general, if i cant yum it, i always have problems installing programs and then give up on them. i read on a different post about making a sym link or something like that. anyone want to help? i guess this is a general question regarding failed dependencies as well. thanks in advance

ibstdc++-libc6.1-1.so.2 is a library which is contained in the compat-libstdc++-33 package ,so if you install the rpm you have the lib too.
2 ways to search for lib is open terminal and type:yum search libname
or go to http://rpm.pbone.net/ or http://www.fedoratracker.org/tracker...28&iteration=2

and search for an rpm that contains the library.Its up to you to find other ways.
