Configuring repos for apt (fc4)

Hello,

I am trying to get apt to work in fc4 and I have configured the dag/freshrpms/dries/newrpms/PlanetCCRMA repos according to Stanton Finley's page and all is well.

I have one question though. Are the above repos enough if I want to update Fedora? I mean, in yum there is a base and an updates-released repo. And the updates to the core of Fedora come from the updates-released repo, right?

I tried telling Synaptic to use mirrors from Fedora's official list of mirrors but I just couldn't give the right values in the "URI", "Distribution" and "Section" fields at the repository configuration tool of Synaptic: all I get is that a "pakglist.os" is not found.

Anyone care to help?

Thanks in advance!!

ps. The error message I get from Synaptic is that "pakglist.***" is missing where "***" is whatever I fill in the "Section" field in Synaptic's repo configuration tool. For example if I wrote "os" I got "pakglist.os" not found. If I wrote "base" it was "pakglist.base" not found and so on.
