Page giong blank in apache

I have just installed Fedora Core 4, Apache v2.0.54, PHP 5.0.4 and MySQL 4.1.11
The problem is this: When i install f.eks the standard phpbb v2.0.18 everything going fine, same with vbulletin and Invision. When i try to install phpbb2 Plus the installalion going fine, but at the end the phpbb2 plus gos to logon.php and the screen going blank (just white) with no errors at all. The same thing happend with phpbb extreme..... Is there anything i forget to install or is it something with the directives..... Hopefully someone here can help me out....

I am not sure, but maybe the guys from the phpbb support forum might be more helpfull, as it is 99% an phpbb issue and not a server one. Have you checked the permissions on the files?

It's not only phpbb, it's also joomla, mambo, cpgnuke mm so i think it's a serverproblem, phpbb standard working fine.......I think it's a php problem, but i dont know where to look

Did you install php-mysql? It is what will allow PHP to use your mysql server.

Code:
yum install php-mysql
If you already have it installed and it still isn't working check you Apache logs to see if you are getting any errors there. It might help get you pointed in the right direction.

I assume you bounced Apache after you got it installed initially? What do your web logs say? Anything in the errors log?

Sorry, I meant have you restarted apache.

Code:
service httpd restart
And if that doesn't fix the issue, I am curious if you are getting any errors in your Apache logs. They will be in /var/log/httpd. I would start by looking in the error log and see if you see anything there that might help,

Hi,

[Thu Dec 29 10:04:19 2005] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] Directory index forbidden by rule: /var/www/html/
[Thu Dec 29 10:04:19 2005] [error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: /var/www/html/favicon.ico
Thats the same error I get!
I've got a vanilla install of FC4, Apache, PHP and MySQL... using Fire Fox any old HTML pages get shown no problem. PHP comes up blank.
At first I thought it was the php load but I can run PHP -i from the command line no problem.

Any ideas appreciated..... I have rebuilt / restarted Apache, re-loaded rpms, restarted the server etc.
