Exclamation yum problems

i get segmenation fault in yum while updating...

---> Package curl.i386 0:7.13.1-5.fc4 set to be updated
---> Package vnc-server.i386 0:4.1.1-10.1 set to be updated
---> Package attr.i386 0:2.4.24-1.FC4.1 set to be updated
Segmentation fault

Sometimes it crashes also with python unkonwn opcode error
I installed system yesterday so its almost clean... (firestarter & few others added).

AMD K6 400mhz with 384 MB of memory...

May this mean that some memory chip is broken?

could be--use #1 install disk and boot from it--at the "install type" screen type in
linux memcheck86
at least I think that's the command--use the "F" keys and look for that listed on one of them
let it run for quite a bit (at least one complete test--not just a "pass")-it is a very capable memory tester, but will take a bit of time--if you have errors--time for new mem stick(s)...
this won't hurt the install and is easily gotten out of--just hit the "esc" key and it reboots--just remove the CD and it boots right back into your installed OS.

memorey was okay... i changed to fedora core 3 and did yum update and it workes fine now...
