Disabling daemons at start up

Hi all,

I'm new to fedora, but I have some experience with linux. What I want to do is disable the cpuspeed daemon permanently, because I like to control the CPU myself. Now I have to call /etc/init.d/cpuspeed stop every time I reboot, but I know there has got to be a way to disable it, like rc-update with gentoo or rc.conf with arch linux. I just can't find it. Any help?
