Latest ISO of FC 1: Installation / Gnome broke?

Hi all

It seems that recent problems with libpng / Gnome made it into the installation ISO's. I downloaded the latest ISO's and could not install from where Gnome is started, as the image can not be loaded (Fedora png). I returned to older disks I had laying around: they installed without a problem.

I am not aware that they even released multiple versions of the FC1 iso. I think they still have the same one posted and are just releasing updates until FC2 comes out in April. It sounds to me like you have a corrupted iso somewhere along the line. But i dont think they released multiple verions of the FC1 isos. The older versions should be the same isos you can download now.

Hi macron,

This sounds like corrupt media - Have you verified this media using a md5 hashing tool such as md5sum?

Strange thing: I did test. Will investigate further if I get all the installations needed done ;-)
