I would go with ext3, the default for Fedora. You get the journaling file system making it a little more tolerant of unexpected shutdowns. The file system on the server will not make a difference to the clients using Samba.

Regardless of which file system you choose for your Samba server, making backups of the data on it is the best way to protect your data from loss of a partition or hard drive.

Post Okay

How can I repare my ext3 file system.

I know when I loss data form it. I don't know, but when I start my system, Linux repare it and restart. It goes every time.

Then I reinstall my Linux OS.
