CPP fails sanity check

checking how to run the C++ preprocessor... /lib/cpp
configure: error: C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check

i am getting the error above when trying to install pcre for snort. Does anyone know what I need to do to fix this?

Does /lib/cpp exist?

I have the same problem when i trying to install Xine.

When i set .\configure, the same error of C++ preprocessor "/lib/cpp" fails sanity check.

If somebody can help us.

I will be greatfull.

mewilh0: "yum install pcre"

Outside: Enable livna repo and "yum install totem-xine"

If those don't work for either of you install the entire devel group:

yum groupinstall "Development Tools"

everything works fine, but when i'am playing a dvd, i can't hear some sound like the caracthers voice, just hear the action sound.

I don't know how this hapen!

yesterday everything was great....

Some option?
