Won't even start the installation... need help

Whenever I try to install FC4 onto my comp it says this (I boot it [with the graphics on] from a cd I made at 8X write speed):

Uncompressing Linux...

CRC Error

-- System halted



Can anyone help? I'm trying to install it on a 3 gb hard drive (I have an 8 gb hard drive that I will use for programs and big files) on a pc with a 350 mHz pentium II processor and over 300 mb's of RAM. I will be using the computer as a Webserver and a gameserver (unreal tournament and such).

BTW- I have FC4 running on a PII 333 MHz with 384 Mb ram. KDE runs slow, but not as slow as XP
