How to know the port number and host number?

Hi,
I am in Fedora Linux 2.6..I want to know the port number and host number, how can i get..please help me anyone..

What port number ? Of which service ? And by host number you mean IP address or what ? Be more specific, please. Where does this request come from ?

I presume you mean your own IP. This can be found with /sbin/ifconfig. Port numbers are assigned to services, not machines.
