Intallation corrupt

I have been trying to get fc4 installed. Ive been through 3 different cd sets. I use CD Burner xp, and all the other cds Ive burned on my burner have worked.

I get the install image corrupt or damaged media error, just after it wipes all of the information off of my hard drive during partitioning. I have only had this problem with fc4 images and no others. Mind you I have burned everything from music cds to OS images.

It looks like its not my cd burner but a problem with the install images. Is there a work around. Thanks

If you're using CDBurnerXPPro, it's the program I used with XP for burning my FC4 ISO's and had perfect success with it. Of course, you could try burning at a slower speed or maybe using a different download - I got mine from this site: http://fedora.isphuset.no/

Q: The installer's media check says all my CDs are bad!
A: There is a bug in the kernel which causes the media check to say some CDs are bad when they are not, on some systems. To do a successful media check, do the following:

1. At the installer prompt, type:

linux mediacheck ide=nodma
2. Run the media check on your CDs/DVD.
3. Reboot, and run the installer normally.

I did linux ide=nodma. Ill give it one more try and use linux mediacheck ide=nodma. Ill let you know what happens. Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!

My cd's reported as bad too but I tried the install anyway and all went fine.
