Urgent Please help with Video Drivers

I am running Fedora Core 4. I have an AMD 64 bit processor and a ATI Radeon 9550 video card. I installed yum and installed the drivers as per the detaisl given in www.fedorafaq.org The installation was all complete. Immediately after installing that i restarted to see if it fixed the problem. I just had a look and its still the same. I did fglrxinfo and it says MESA driver. I am really getting annoyed with no help for this. Can any GURUs out there help me out with a set by step guide to setup this video card. Please
