try to install eagle usb driver leaves me with error: kernel-sources cannot be found!

i try to configure eagle usb drivers for a sagem 800 fast usb modem
so when i give the ./configure command i get

error: kernel-sources cannot be found!

i thing that i have install kernel-sources corectly, using the redhat release notes,maybe i mess things up. How can i really see if i corrctlly installe kernel sources?
