Angry Eclipse 3.1 - upgrade (x86_64)

I just upgraded to Eclipse 3.1, using up2date. When I run it I now get the following errors at startup:

JVM terminated. Exit code=1
/usr/bin/java
-Xms64M
-Xmx256M
-jar /usr/share/eclipse/startup.jar
-os linux
-ws gtk
-arch x86_64
-launcher /usr/share/eclipse/eclipse
-name Eclipse
-showsplash 600
-exitdata 110015
-data /home/miker/workspace
-vm /usr/bin/java
-vmargs
-Xms64M
-Xmx256M
-jar /usr/share/eclipse/startup.jar

I thought that up2date was pretty bomb proof. Suggestions welcome!

TIA,

Michael
