Php Manual

Hi,

I have recenlty started using fedora4.0.
Is php manual available with Fedora 4 ? if yes, how can i access that.
or should i use html php manual available on php.net. i guess, chm does not work with Fedora.
can i run chm in Fedora ?

I tried to insall quanta with rpm available on quanta site. But system is throwing error about package not found. I have install the entire kde available in fedora4.0 CD. But i am unable find quanta in my program menu. if quanta is available with fedora, how can i find it.

Please advice..

Quanta is in the package "kdewebdev".

Thanks for the quick reply.

yum is not working . throwing error about base url not found.
Can i run yum without internet ?

and then browse it locally.

If you want to view chm's, gnoCHM and kama help explorer both run on FC4.

Oh.. I forgot to mention that xCHM is buggy when it comes to non-latin languages.

And the xCHM team isn't very helpful either, they are rude somehow (I hope I misjudged them).

Well, 'yum install kdewebdev' sure fixed a problem I was having. Not a real obvious place for the PHP manual. Thanks Markkuk

I have always thought that the online manual is the best, since you get to read all the comments as well.

You can run .chm file in Fedora 4

find the kchmviewer install it...

$ kchmviewer file.chm

it will open your .chm (Compiled Html file)

so you can read that file....very easy
