I have an MSI Motherboard MS-6378 Ver:1 that exhibits a similar problem. Same error message about tty, then runs anaconda, gets to the point where it loads X to start the installation, and hangs on a white screen. Text installation gets a little further, but still generates errors.

Funny thing though - FC3 installs fine on this machine as does Xandros.

Any thoughts?

Alan

Sorry, forgot to mention that the distro causing the problem is FC4
