Canon Powershot A75 FC4

Hello;
I have the camera and download pictures without a problem to FC3. But to this other computer which has FC4 it doesn't download. It does recognize the camera but then I get an error message like I/O error.

My A70 works on FC4. Are you using Gnome or KDE?

I have the very similar Canon A85 working just fine here with FC4. Maybe the USB port you're using doesn't have enough (electrical) "juice" in it. Try connecting it to one of the USB ports directly on the motherboard - they are usually accessible near where one connects the PS/2 mouse and keyboard on the back of your computer.

Can you cut and paste a quote of the error message you're getting?
