CompactFlash card on Lexmark Z65P

FC4, running KDE default (but Gnome available). I got the driver working for the Lexmark Z65 inkjet printer, even though my printer is the Z65P USB (photo, with four slots for various memory cards). The printer works fine, but does anyone know of a way to get Linux to "see" the contents of a memory card that I insert into the printer? On Winblows, the card reader is displayed as a mounted volume, like G:\. Would I just have to mess around with the usb settings in /etc/fstab and mount the printer as a volume, or is it more complicated? I wonder if anyone has tried this on any other printer that has memory card readers.

I'm all up to date on the latest FC4 kernel updates and KDE 3.4. Perhaps there is some application software that can interact with the printer as it were a digital camera?

Thanks!
