I use FC3 and Gnome 2.8 but i wanted to update gnome to 2.12, so i tried yum but it said there was depedency problems. Now i looked around on the internet and found that i might be able to fix it if i remove the programs that give dependency problems, so without thinking i went on and removed NetworkManager, gstreamer-plugins and nautilus-media, then i rebooted. So now Gnome won't start but something called Twm starts so i can login and start everyhing from the terminal and if i start nautilus i get the desktop window, I can also move the desktop around so thats pretty cool. I guess i have to reinstall something and i managed to fix networkmanager back, but the other two tells me about depedency problems.
Is there an easy way to reinstall Gnome or whatever it was that went wrong? I also got synaptic if that helps.
