Kat desktop search for KDE

http://kat.mandriva.com/

Does anyone know if something like this is available for Gnome? I know there's slocate, etc. but a nice program like Spotlight or Google Desktop Search would be really smooth for Gnome users.

Best attempt at packaging for Fedora it is at nrpms.net. It uses mono, so it's inclusion in Fedora is still up in the air.
