    In order to make this work you will need to yum install libstdc in a terminal as root. Once this is installed do a yum update so that way the mirrors see that this dependency is installed and might have other updates for you.

    Next you will need to do the same command you provided above rpm -Uvh fglrx64_6_8_0-8.16.20-1.x86_64.rpm then the rpm will recognize the dependency with no issue. If you do have an issue, let us know.

    Good Luck!

    I did this one and it update somethings but I guess not everything (libstdc++.so.5)

    Ok, do a search for libstdc, by yum search libstdc, if this dependency is available type what the name is exactly how it's spelled when doing yum install "dependency name" and it will install it correctly.

    Go ahead and reboot, but save that command line for the rpm in a text editor incase you forget when boot back up. It doesn't look like it installed anything but shows these dependencies are installed. Give it a boot and see what it does before you do anything else.

    Sorry for the lack of knowledge.

    you need the "compat-libstdc++-33" package

    As a side note, you can install RPMs with "yum localinstall" or "yum install" or something like that and it will get dependencies.

    I suppose the bug has been reported and will be released fixed in FC5 if not sooner in a update.
