Integrating My FC4 machine with my current Windows Network

Hi all.

My Network consists of 3 pcs (1 XP Desktop, 1 XP Laptop, and My Desktop FC4/XP)

When my PC is in Windows mode, it has a shared printer and 2 shared hard drives connected to it. Now, whenever I boot into FC4, The other members of my network cannot access the shared Printer or hard drives.

How can I share a printer and 2 hard drives (one is NTFS and the other is FAT32) with two XP Machines.

Also, if i share the 2 hard drives will the people on the network be able to access them through the shortcuts I made in windows? or will i have to make a Linux version of that shortcut for them to use on their Windows PC?

use samba

http://macromedia.rediris.es/rpm/RPM....25-1.i386.rpm

be sure to name the shares exactly the same as on Windows... then it should work fine. also name your box (in Samba - not hostname but machine name in SMB) same as windows box, put it in the same workgroup/domain (I assume your network is workgroup based).

Nice resource, but it doesnt tell me how to share an NTFS hard drive or how to share a printer, just how to set up a sharing server

I need a resource that tells me how to do all of this
