konqueror crashes by mouse click

konqueror in file view or in web browser mode if the mose is clicked and left the browser exits and kde crash notice comes up.
i tried adjusting click speed and all of the mouse setup
how to stop this behavior of koqueror
though exits its restartable and comes up without any kde message of crash
this is strange i have not seen in the past 10 times of fc4 installations and reinstallations due to some thing or other faults soon after installing xmmx ,xine,firefox updates
i cant find what causes the gnome to crash first and then kde will not let any root use and then kde also crashes
one fine time display wont sync and only some color patterns on the top portion of the screenand few white lins
this installation is 11th time
the konqureror problem i have not seen before
once crashed it never comes up in the previous installtions untill reboot
now it recovers immediately
help help

it happens this way
if i use the scroll bar with one left click and leave it then it exits. i can use the wheel to move around the window up and down
clicking double clicking in the body of the konqrr window nothing happens
even in the scroll bar untill i scroll everything is normal
if i drag the scroll bar a little then only trouble both horizontal and vertical scrolls side ones and middle ones all scroll bars in konquerr only does this
somebody please help avoid 12 th reinstallation of fc4 in my comp
