all rite i done a search and got nothing. i got fedora core 3 64bit isntalled on this old hdd, and really dont feel like reinstalling it but i forgot the root password. the box is sitting right here and if i really gotta reinstall im going to 4 i guess. just le me know how easy getting hte password is and a link to the threads i coudnlt find. THNX

Boot up the install disk one with "linux rescue" at the boot prompt, chroot /mnt/sysimage, then passwd.
