Lilo starts even though Grub were installed

Hi,

I have installed Fedora Core 4 on an external USB drive which previously contained a Mandrake 10 installation. Lilo were installed on the first sectors of the USB drive.

When installing FC4 I removed all existing partitions, created new. Selected advanced Grub options and choose to install Grub on the first sectors of /dev/sda1. When the installation was finished and I rebooted the system the Mandrake Lilo bootloader started!

Can I somehow remove the lilo boot manager using the rescue mode in the FC4 installation? Or is there another solution to this annoying issue?

Regards,
Johan
