I just installed xfce using the graphical installer. Everything installed correctly. I then logged out but cant start it as it is not in the session menu. Anyone experienced this before?

I wrote my original answer with almost zero sleep and am sorry it was so bad. I just installed xfce on a fedora core laptop with a tiny hard drive and here is the real answer.

1. yum groupinstall XFCE

2. switchdesk XFCE

3. startx
