Abit AL8 on fileserver

I'm building new server and find out that Abit AL8 does have RAID 5 support and that might be perfect system board for my server. Have anyone installed Fedora Core 3 or 4 on system build on AL8? I was thinking to use four 250GB Samsung P120 SATA HDD's and P4 3,0Ghz.
