PPC Checksum Errors

Hello All, My first attempt at Fedora and I seem to have a small problem. I downloaded the FC4-ppc-disk1.iso and disk two--Disk 1 fails on both the linux check and the checksum on disk utility(I'm using an iBook G3 mac osx 10.4.2) Disk two checks out fine-

After trying 2 times from the the Fedora Project web site:
http://download.fedora.redhat.com/pu...ore/4/ppc/iso/
I went to a mirror and got the same results. I have Yellow Dog on my sys now but wanted to use Fedora because it has a greater recognition and more users that can help with these little probs.

Is there a site I can get a good download?

I had a similar problem with Yellow Dog Linux 4.0.1 Disk #1 and burning on a Mac with the built in CD iso burner OS X 10.3 has. I had to download the Disk#1 on a PC and ran a program called MD5sum.exe on it to check it out. Worked fine after I downloaded and burned from a PC. Never could figure out why the first disk allows failed the media check and I wasted like 4 CD's trying to burn Disk#1 on the Mac. Yellow Dog Linux Disks 2-4 passed the install check and checksums

So, in short, try downloading on a PC, run MD5sum.exe (google it) and burn from there if you can.
