Good Linux (Fedora Core) Books!
Any suggestions on what are some good Fedora Core 4 based books? I have FC4 installed and went through a very basic book. I learned some basic command line code and how to install from source and stuff. I want to learn some more advanced things without getting to crazy if you know what I mean. I am still a newb but I don't want another book which teaches me how to install and get it set up and that's it. Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated. I have a gift certificate to use so I'm eager to go and grab one. Thank you very much!!!

It pretty much boils down to "Bible" or "Unleashed".
I prefer the layout and style of Bible - clearer and more straightforward than Unleashed. The paper smells better too...

I've always been a fan of the Bible series. My experience with the unleashed books haven't been as good. (mistakes, typos, etc)

I have Fedora Core 3 Unleashed, and I find myself using the internet more than my book which I paid 50 dollars for!!!!

I have Fedora Linux 3 Bible by Christopher Negus.
I think it's great.
So if you got the FC4 version, I'm sure you wouldn't be dissapointed.

I saw a good one the other day for those of us just starting out. The title was,
and I'm not pulling your leg, "RedHat Fedora Core 3 Linux For Dummies".
If you can get through the title without pausing for breath, I'd recommend it.
It comes with a DVD version of FC3, which is a nice bonus.

Well those books aren't as elaborate as the Bible and Unleashed.
Pricewise, the Dummies are cheaper, but ........ a lot less pages than the two.

I got the "Linux for Dummies" book a long time ago(it came with FC1)...it is really a guide to use linux, but not much on troubleshooting or configuration. I think the "Bible" books are the best for the average user.

Hi guys,
Phew, just changed my order on amazon.co.uk from unleashed to Bible on this threads advice. A touch cheaper too. 
I sure hope the paper smells nice now
