been using fc2 fro bout 6 months (though most of dat time was spent on windows playin cs) n some issues hv cropped up...
1. I can´t use any command (yum/cvs/up2date) from terminal successfully (I am behind ISA n i think dats da culprit) e.g. if i use cvs after askin pswd it gives ´host not found´. Basically internet is inaccessible to me from the terminal.
2. I wanted some reason to delete winXP n found wineX as n alternate 4 cs...but it costs money...dats 2 bad
...seeing dat directx is available free of cost n wineX is essentially open source
3. I cant run ma660 usb infrared adapter frm linux (i think irda-utils does not support MA660). Now there will be another reason not to remove winXP...
4. I looked up the recent threads for shortening bootup time n tried usin initng but it gave a lot of error (some .c files missin/coldplug failed)...basically i dont understand wat initng does...how it works...
Now dat u v taken time to read thru all this...i vil b grateful 2 u 4 spendin some more 4 answerin everythin...
