virtual terminal

Hi All,
I am running FC-4 and I am having a problem with all virtual terminal. I can switch between virtual terminals using ctrl+alt+f[1-6] but I can see only X-window in the background. All virtual terminals react to the keyboard but I don't see what I type as the X-window stays in the backgound. when I switched to init 3 then all virtual terminals work. Please help as virtual terminals are so important.

this is a bug in Xorg

yum --enable=development -y update xorg-x11

Reboot the system and then hit ALT CNTL F1 - F6
to verify the fix

bug is being tracked with Bug # 161242
https://bugzilla.redhat.com/bugzilla....cgi?id=161242
