Bind DNS Nameserver

I recently aquired a domain from godaddy.com and have am using someone's dns server as my nameserver. I would like to be able to set up bind on the actual webserver box and run my own dns server on it instead of using someone else's nameserver.

I looked at Bind's website for some documentation that walked through different features and installations but found nothing.

Does anyone know of any resources that may lend a helping hand with installing and running bind?

In all honesty, why? Provided you are not likely to move IP to often, you really should just pass on this. Bind has, in the past, had several significant security holes, and it can be a PITA to configure properly so if there isn't a *really* compelling reason to run your own nameserver, my advice would be: Don't.
If you are planning to change IP alot, you can get cheap dns from dyndns.org or similar. Still safer than running your own.

Rant over, if you really must do it, you could start here.
