Xsession and other sessions in GDM

Hello,

how can one enable an Xsession or other than Gnome sessions in Fedora-GDM (Gnome display-manager) ?

But I want GDM to offer me other sessions than only the Gnome one.
Other distributions do this as well.

It will only do that if you have installed the software for those sessions. I don't think KDE is installed by default, and XFCE must be installed separately from the OS. Fluxbox and Blackbox, same thing.

That's pretty simple. Just install the other Window Managers.

Code:
yum groupinstall "KDE (K Desktop Environment)"
or
yum groupinstall XFCE
or
yum install fluxbox
hth,
Jason

I have now installed fluxbox. It's package contains /etc/X11/dm/Sessions/fluxbox.desktop and /etc/X11/gdm/Sessions/FluxBox.
I have now created the respective files for IceWM.
And now GDM offers Fluxbox as well as IceWM in it's session menu.
